The challenge

Grünbeck wanted to increase customer engagement with its IoT-enabled devices. In practice, it proved difficult to get customers to register their device and share usage data. A solution was needed that would encourage adoption while carefully addressing privacy concerns.

An IoT app connecting customer and system

Recreate developed an IoT-connected mobile app that lets customers control and monitor their water treatment system remotely via smartphone or tablet. The app displays real-time performance data (such as water consumption, filtration efficiency and maintenance status) and generates alerts when servicing is required.
